I have previously built my own serial cables for use with my Wanderer and Rover controllers, so I know how it all works. This cable works perfectly.I was previously using the BT-1 Bluetooth module with a Raspberry Pi to pull energy metrics, so swapping that out for this cable enabled me to disable Bluetooth on the Raspberry Pi and possibly save a little power.I have developed a NodeJS application that will read data from Renogy controllers, and it works with this cable -- search GitHub for "MaffooClock/SerialRenogy".
