Good instructions, made well and works great. I wanted a usb for plugging in a camera that we use to watch the dog while we are out. The camera's usb wall dongle (which is like a phones dongle) sticks out to far and fell out often. This is a much cleaner setup.It was easy to follow the instructions. Good diagrams. This plug was replacing one in the kitchen. It has two hot and two neutral setup, which the instructions show as one example of wiring, see picture. Two wires each for the hot and neutral wires go onto one screw connector on this unit. This is fine, but the screws are not quite long enough to get the two copper wires under and around them. I had to pull the screws all the way out and use two others there were a bit longer. Lucky I had an assortment screw pack that had screws that would work, else it would have been a trip to the hardware store. The seller should include longer screws.The device is cleverly built to accommodate two hots and two neutrals, but you cannot fit three of either into the device. Now, naturally the converter is a part of the outlet module, and so it is much larger than your standard outlet. For this reason, it is virtually impossible to fit the outlet module AND pigtails into my electrical box. I basically forced it to work (pushing the outlet and both pigtails back into the box), but now the face plate and the outlet are not flush with the wall. It's still a five star product because it can accommodate two hots and two neutrals without pigtails. But be warned, you probably won't be able to deal with three hots and three neutrals without it looking pretty weird.When I plug my Motorola phone into the USB ports, it registers it as 'Turbocharge', which basically means that it's pumping out as much power as my phone can handle. That's great! Fast charging is very nice.Overall, I'm very impressed with the product and I appreciate that it can accommodate two of each wire, but be weary of trying it with three. Three 12 gauge wires cannot fit under the clamps on the device.These are awesome and super easy upgrades for your home. If you have basic knowledge of electricity and have a screwdriver you can do this yourself. Just make sure you turn off the power for the outlet at your power box before doing anything.The instructions are pretty easy and come with diagrams that show you which wires to connect. The outlet itself is pretty great, you get USB C - which is the future and USB A - which everything is still compatible with. Both will do 24 watts which is enough for nay phone or tablet you may use. You may even use it to charge small laptops at slower speed. The outlet also comes with built in safety covers over the prongs which is useful if you have small children. It’s so useful to be able to charge things without having to use the power bricks.Fairly easy to install, fits two hot and two neutral wire easily. I straightened my wires out and plugged the wires straight in rather than looped them around the screw. This outlet is blockier than my standard outlet, but it still fit inside the outlet slot properly with a little bit of pushing the wires into.The faceplate is two piece rather than the one piece which is what I got around my whole house, I'm guess it is used to conceal the screws. However, the package did not include two extra screws to mount the bottom faceplate onto the outlet block so I had to use screws from my old outlet to accomplish the job. If you're installing brand new then hope you have the extra screws.I kinda like these faceplate without the screw either in the middle or top and bottom.Works well for locations where you regularly charge your phone, like your bedside. No need anymore for a charging block that sticks out and people can run into. I like that it has both a USB A and USB C port. Some installation notes:- Remove the face plate from the base plate carefully to avoid breaking one of the clips that holds it together. Felt a bit flimsy.- The outlet only accommodates two neutral and two hot wires. I had three hot wires, so had to get a bit creative. Managed to fit the third wire directly under the screw, but it was tight.- The face plate was slightly smaller than that of the outlet I replaced (20 years old), so before mounting the face plate I had to paint around the base plate to finish the install properly.I love this outlet. No need to look around for charger boxes with this outlet. I used it for iPhone 13 max pro and it charged fast with no issue.
