My wife's cellphone often runs out of power at a time when she needs it most. Also our power goes out due to weather frequently. Both situations require a long-life backup batter solution. This unit offers a lot of power and even a built-in light! BOTH features are helpful when the power goes out! To my surprise it arrived with a 100% full charge! So far, with heavy usage, my wife has not used up the full battery. Not sure of how many hours it will last, but she has run her phone on it for well over 3 hours without making much of a dent in the remaining capacity. The unit will simultaneously charge or operate up to three devices and offers fast charging on one of the USB ports. You can use this to power any USB device, though it would not likely be suitable for a standard laptop. It will work with the lightweight laptops and all of our tablets. There are three different USB ports: USB micro, USB standard and USB C. It offers PD3.0/QC4.0 fast-charge which for newer cellphones reduces the charge time considerably. While I haven't timed it I do know that somewhere between 30-50 minutes a dead battery cellphone was fully charged. One of the most useful features is the digital display showing remaining charge. This is a heavier battery than what she had before, but offers over double the capacity making the trade off well worth the extra mass. I am buying a second unit for myself, and am considering getting more to give as useful Christmas and Birthday gifts.
