This is a very professional, sturdy looking charging stand. The included USB C cable is detachable, theoretically allowing for replacement if a cable stops functioning. Unfortunately, the product does not charge "super fast" as described. In fact, I found that if I use any cable other than the one included with the Encased stand - including the cable that came with my phone - this charging stand will not charge AT ALL.I contacted Encased directly to complain that the stand does not permit a fast charge. After a few emails back and forth they appeared concerned and offered to replace it. I was directed to fill out an online form. I included a detailed description referencing the email discussion, and I submitted the replacement request. However, I received back a notice that they didn't understand exactly what my issue was and requested photos of the item. I got to the point I decided that this was becoming too much fuss over a $20 item - not to mention I'd probably still have to box up the stand and send it back. It's become too much trouble. After reviewing descriptions and other reviews of the same Encased stand specified for other phone brands on Amazon I realize that probably the stand simply isn't properly designed to charge fast. The fault appears to be in the description of these stands as capable of fast (or super-fast) charging. It isn't likely that a replacement would perform differently than this one did anyway.Cables designed to allow super-fast charging (60W-100W) have a chip built into them that signals to the cell phone or adapter the higher voltage capacity of the cable. I believe that a chip may be built into the stand itself and the cable included with the stand doesn't have one at all. It would explain why using my OEM charging cable which has the chip in it in conjunction with the Encased stand that also has a chip built into it doesn't allow proper communication and so charging completely fails. Using the Encased stand with the included cable does not charge as advertised as "super-fast" but it does charge. I'll just mount the phone in the stand overnight and allow it to charge slowly. I haven't been able to find any third-party stand that truly charges very fast. It looks nice and charges slow. Keep your expectations low on this item.
