This review is for MagBac MacBook Pro Docking Station Dual Monitor (ASIN: B09NNB4WPR). The first thing I noted is the cool professional gear design with the rounded off legs/handles, screwed on panels, and metal finish. I really like the connections and placement. I like the USB-C connections on front and back, and there is a good amount of USB connections. I would have liked to have seen more USB3.0 connections though and DisplayPort. I’m not sure why and SD without a micro-SD slot is included though.I should have paid more attention to the detail in the listing. I commonly see listings try to promote items as more than they are, and I thought that was the case here. I thought they were pushing the MacBook name to give an air of quality, brand, and high price. Unfortunately, it turns out this thing really does need a higher end MacBook to get all the features to work. With my Windows laptop I can only get one display to work.Even if I had a MacBook Pro, I think I would look for a different docking station that has a bet set of connections. It’s just so odd how some good connections are there, but then some main ones are missing. Also, the power brick is not small, and this docking station is larger than it needs to be. I think better values are out there to be had.
