I fully charged the battery with the included charger. The battery worked as a charm. I placed the battery that would not charge that came with the flash. It blinked ..I put it in the actual CANON charger. It charged also. The battery was reset I guess. Now great.One drawback I see is the 2 battery charger must charge using a electrical current passing through both batteries. If 1 battery should fail...the other will also not charge. Removed the noncharging battery and the other charged correctly.
