1* for QC. How can do many of these be defective? Look through the reviews, it seems that it is very common for these battery banks to be defective. Luckily I bought this ahead of time and was able to get a replacement before leaving on my backpacking trip. I had to press hard and hold the cables into the first bank to get it to pass a charge to my devices, and the blue charrging indicator lights flashed constantly even when not in use.The 3* rating is for the functioning replacement. Why 3*? Advertising that this can charge a phone 3x is inaccurate. My phone has a 3100mAh battery and I was able to charge it 3x, but not from 0-100%. It was more like 30-90%, nowhere near 3x in reality. It also charges very slowly, like the slowest charge I've ever seen from any battery bank.Before writing this review I had planned to keep the battery bank, but now I'm reconsidering that choice. I like that it's supposedly waterproof, but I'm not sure if it's worth it.
